Fellowship Program for Early to Mid-Career Biological Scientists in USA, 2019

Scholarship  Description: Applications are now being accepted for CTR Biosciences Fellowship Program for the year 2018-2019. Students from Iraq, Jordan, and Lebanon are eligible to apply for this fellowship. The goal of the fellowship is to promote biological safety and security (BS&S) by increasing technical capacity for biological scientists in the Middle East and South Asia (MESA) region and to establish a regional network for sustainable cooperation on laboratory diagnosis and BS&S standards. Selected fellows will conduct a science fellowship, requiring the fellow to travel for four to six months in duration, to engage in research at a host institution different than their home country beginning no earlier than September 2019.
